QHSE - Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management

It is the policy of FORCE 10 that the highest priority is given to all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment in all its business activities and that the highest standards are implemented in all Operating Divisions & Projects.
Force 10 QHSE procedures are linked within an Integrated Management System (IMS). The system encompasses compliance with Client requirements, delivery of exceptional service, elimination of costs with no added value, proactive waste management, and prevention of pollution and minimization of any adverse impact on the Environment. It also embraces a safe place of work, safe systems of work and healthy working environment to prevent injury, ill health or damage.
Force 10 shall comply with the relevant international, federal and local government regulations Period.

1. It is duty of every employee of Force 10 to implement Management System in performance of their duties & ensure that this policy is supported & maintained.
2. QHSE policy will be communicated openly to all Force 10 employees, customers, suppliers & subcontractors. It will also be made available to other interested parties whenever requested.
3. Force 10 General Manager (GM) shall be responsible for the overall implementation of QHSE Management System, while the Management Representative (MR) shall be responsible for the overall management of the IMS.
4. Whenever required, the GM reviews the policy for its continuing suitability including a commitment to satisfy applicable requirements & continued improvement of the IMS.

Parts of these commitments are as follows:
• Identify potential environmental impacts and opportunities from Force 10 activities, by commissioning environmental impacts assessment for all projects’ proposals, if required, then addressing recommendations in the decision-making and planning processes.
• Seek to minimize pollution and use natural resources sustainably by considering environmental performance and climate change in investment decisions, master planning, development design and construction, and supporting relevant research and development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement by identifying appropriate environmental standards, developing and implementing guidelines, implementing pollution mitigation measure, monitoring environmental performance, and reviewing activities where necessary.
• Provide environmental training and awareness to the staff to enable them to carry out their jobs responsibly, and ensure accountability for environmental performance at all levels in Force10.
• Ensure contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and partners working with us to meet or exceed Force 10 environmental expectations.
• Inform and exchange with our staff, development and construction partners, regulators and communities.
• Pro-actively work with other local and international stakeholders through research and joint programmers to advance environmental management in the development, construction and operation stage of in-land and marine urban communities.
• Operate and maintain all environmental management system through compliance with ISO 14001: 2015 & EAD.
• Promote the materials recycling methodology during construction and operation stages.
• The Policy shall be reviewed annually and all changes shall be effected accordingly.

Within a corporate framework for occupational health & safety, each business unit of Force 10 is required to:
• Maintain occupational health and safety management system meeting the requirement of ISO 45001: 2018 & OSHAD SF.
• Maintain a culture of free and actual accident and incident reporting.
• Set and achieve clearly defined annual health and safety objectives.
• Provide training and promote awareness of health and safety to employees and those under its care.
• In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirement, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accident, or personal injury/ illness.
• We recognize that the responsibility for health and safety are shared. All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and on our work sites. Safe work practices and job procedures will be clearly defined in the company’s health and safety manual for all employees to follow.
• All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate to planning, operations and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.
• Policy shall be reviewed annually and all changes shall be effected accordingly.
• Safe distance maintained between workers (1-meter distance) at site and inside the bus.
• Mandatory thermal temperature check-up at various points and gates.
• Mandatory COVID-19 awareness campaigns and posters displayed in security gate, notice board & rest room.
• Availability of masks, hand gloves, and sanitizer at the security gate and inside the site offices.
• Daily cleaning / disinfection programme at site, workers bus, rest room, washing area, toilets & water cooler.
• Conducting COVID Test for all staff and workers.
